Salon 21 School of Cosmetology Established May 2020, by Khaleelah Powell, taking the hair industry to the next level is all Khaleelah Powell ever dreamed of. She started barber school 2002 at New Tyler Barber College and graduated in 2003. In 2009 she went to Arkansas Beauty School. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she opened her first salon in 2004. Healthy hair and helping others succeed has always been very important to her. She specializes in protective styles such as sew-ins and quick weaves. With a unique style of teaching, she has been able to teach countless stylist along the way. To make sure she was on continually improving her skills, she continued educational classes, sharing what she learned to her clients and local stylists. Helping others has always been important to her so she offers classes to the stylists such as cutting, coloring, extensions, and natural hair. Traveling all over the world to teach has always been a dream that has now come to pass. With over 23 years of experience, she now owns Salon 21 School of Cosmetology and Salon 21 and both are located in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Salon 21 School of Cosmetology offers cosmetology, instructor, esthetician, and manicure classes. It is our top priority to make sure our students get top tier education that will not only have them ready for the salon, but also ready for the business side of their profession. We have instructors that are not only educated, but they also care about the best interest for the student.
